Entre las 200 obras presentadas, destacamos especialmente el tr\u00edptico monumental titulado <em>La saga de Prometeo<\/em> y el <em>Fresco para Alma Mahler<\/em>, que se exhiben por primera vez en Suiza. Al igual que Francis Picabia y Pablo Picasso, Oskar Kokoschka (1886-1980) fue parte de esta generaci\u00f3n de pintores que se mantuvo fiel a la pintura figurativa, mientras que la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aparences.net\/es\/periodos\/arte-moderno\/arte-abstracto\/\">abstracci\u00f3n<\/a> reforzaba su predominio despu\u00e9s de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Si hoy en d\u00eda se puede practicar la figuraci\u00f3n y el arte abstracto sin guerras de trincheras ideol\u00f3gicas, tambi\u00e9n es gracias a ellos. Los artistas contempor\u00e1neos se identifican particularmente a Kokoschka. De manera expl\u00edcita o impl\u00edcita, pintores como Nancy Spero, Georg Baselitz, Herbert Brandl y Denis Savary se inspiran en su <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aparences.net\/es\/periodos\/arte-moderno\/es-expresionismo\/\">estilo expresionista<\/a>. Admiran el gesto expresivo de su pincelada, saludan su apertura al mundo o comparten la actitud pacifista que impregna el trabajo, la vida y el legado del maestro vien\u00e9s.
